Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has launched a new exhibition format called ‘Sensory Spaces’. American artist Oscar Tuzaon has kicked off this new series. In this open space Tuazon has arranged several sculptural constructions. The artist fuses architectural and sculptural idioms, thus dislocating the viewer’s perception of the space: the classical museum experience of ‘looking’ becomes one of ‘experiencing’. Sensory Spaces 1 – Oscar Tuazon is on view until 29 September 2013.
