From September 1995 until November 1995 Henri Snel was responsible for the renovation and re-design of a houseboat in the canals of Amsterdam. The steel frame was fully renovated in the dock. The build up and the interior of the boat were realised at the present location. During the renovation there were no noteworthy changes made to the exterior of the boat compared to the existing condition, this is due to the strict regulations of the protection of the townscape in the municipality of Amsterdam.
