Henri Snel was lecturing on the national congress ‘Modern Dementia Care’ about Haptics and Architecture

Wouter Bergmann Tiest, researcher on haptic perception at the VU in Amsterdam and Henri Snel lectured together on the National Congress Modern Dementia Care on 25th of November. The sense of touch is perhaps the most underrated sense in architecture, especially for the elderly and people with dementia. How can we better respond here? What material helps to have someone to activate or someone reassure? An active session, which include working with materials.
